Jugs and onions still life.jpeg

"I love the journey of painting a still life in oils, from seeking out inspiring objects to paint, grouping together, playing with light, my thoughts, my love, to create a piece to pass on to others.  Oils are a beautiful medium to work with. Malleable and slow drying, giving chance to reflect and adjust whilst creating a painting.  When working in my studio, time slows down, I get lost in the process and forget time.  In later years I have come to realise how art can bring goodness to the mind and soul.”
