Draped Figure Study
Tom Boyle is a contemporary realist painter from Yorkshire, who trained in drawing and painting at Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art under artist Ewan McNaughton. Inspired by the methods of the master painters, old and contemporary, from Frederick Leighton to Joshua LaRock, he strives to create paintings that capture the luminosity of light through the use of uniquely layered paint application.
As a working artist he has also founded his own school of classical realism the Lancaster Atelier of Art. In his short career he has worked with specialist fine art suppliers such as Nitram charcoal in their advertisements and starred in publications such as Lancashire Life magazine and the U.S Drawing and Painting Magazine.
